Who We Are

We’re Alex and Fina—a writer and an artist who have been friends and chosen family for almost a decade. Because we live states apart, mail has always been one of the ways we stay connected. Over the years, we’ve sent each other handwritten letters, cards, love boxes, and little “saw this and thought of you” gifts just to remind one another: I’m here. I’m thinking of you.

The Homegirls’ Mail Club grew out of that friendship ritual. We started wondering: What if we shared the kind of thoughtful mail we’ve been sending each other for years and created a way for more people to experience that same feeling of connection?

So, each month, we choose a new theme and put together an envelope filled with letters, prompts, art, keepsakes, and other thoughtful pieces created to help you reflect, connect, and feel a little less alone. Some things are meant to be kept close. Others are meant to be shared with the people in your life.

At the heart of it, Homegirls’ Mail Club is about creating more opportunities to feel seen, supported, and connected—to ourselves and to one another—through something tangible you can actually hold in your hands.

And when we’re not living our lives or writing letters to you, we co-host a podcast called Two Friends Talking. Come hang out with us over on Substack!
